Mr.Prem Chand
Prem Chand, the visionary and the prinicipal founder of the
organization, had a childhood dream to set up an organization, which would
provide opportunities to young members for scientific experimentation and there
by enable and empower them to be part of the process of creating a better
society.
During his Engineering Education (1983-87), his ideas got
more streamlined and started visualizing a futuristic business organization,
which would realize the above dream, through offering of products and services
in the technology spectrum of Electronics, Communications & Software.
Mr. G. Prem Chand,
Managing Director, Sorokasoft
Mr. G.Prem Chand is the chief architect of Sorokasoft which
was established in 1998 by a team of professionals. By nature an entrepreneur,
Prem Chand has been the propelling force behind Sorokasoft’s focus and
direction.
In 2004, Prem Chand set up an embedded systems company Acorn
Embedded Limited in association with a business accomplice.
ESSENCE (Empowerment Society for Skills Enhancement), a
non-profit body was founded by Prem Chand in 2008.
He is also associated with numerous private and government
educational institutes.
Prem Chand graduated in Electronics and Communication
Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 1983-87.
Thereafter, while studying M. Tech in Computer Science from Hyderabad Central
University he joined Bharat Electronics Limited in Bangalore in 1988. He worked
in BEL (a leading Government of India enterprise) Bangalore till 1992 and
subsequently in Hyderabad till 1998, before starting his business venture
Sorokasoft.
Mr. Prassannt Garekaphate - Vice President - Business Development
An Electrical & Electronics Engineering graduate with 20 years of
experience in the fields of Design of electrical distribution systems,
Street Lighting, Solar Energy Systems, Green Building certification
process, conduction of energy audits, Business development and
marketing, Automatic Meter Reading, Distribution Transformer Monitoring
System, Remote Telecom Tower Monitoring systems, Broadband over power
lines, etc.
- She is a co-founder of Green Ark, driving Product Development and Green Infra Projects and is one of the core team members of the IGBC Green Homes Rating System.
- She completed a course in SAP (SD) and is a BEE Certified Energy Auditor.
- She worked with Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, Boston Blu (India) Ltd., ICSA India Ltd, Sugan Automatics Pvt. Ltd. before co-founding Green Ark.
MR. Uday Khardekar -Director
He is a Electronics Engineering Graduate and developer by profession and one of the founder promoters of RMS.
He is the Managing Director of UdayUdyog Pvt. Ltd.
Since 1986 he is in power supplies design, development and production business.
He is an Entrepreneur with a vision and passion for developing sustainable and eco-friendly Products.
A visionary developer who is a pioneer in implementing automation,
energy management, M&V, etc embedded into the project for enabling
ease of facilities management, billing etc.
